| Soweto Gospel Choir wins third Grammy |
Soweto
Gospel Choir continues to fly the South African flag high, the group
bagged the third Grammy award for the album Freedom,renditions of
well known
struggle
songs.
Receiving
the award on behalf of Soweto Gospel Choir were album producer
Diniloxolo Ndlakuse, Shimmy Jiyane, Mary Mulovhedzi, and Mulalo
Mulovhedzi.
The Grammy award-winning album was recorded in June 2018 as part of the group's tribute to the 100 years of Mandela celebrations.
