Opinion: Will we ever be safe, Chronicles of a women's reality

Day in and day out women around the world live in fear, i have seen several videos of women being publicly attacked by men and onlookers continue with their journey as thou nothing is happening.

During the Valentines week men had an imaginary conference, boy how i wish that conference was real, than we would experience life without men for a  good three days. I kept asking myself how those three days would be like, how life without the predators would be like, for a whole 72 hours.

Generalization much? of course am generalizing, i am painting all men with the same brush.
I am generalising because men know and see what their fellow "brothers" are doing, but have you seen a conference where they call each other into order, not that i remember, not even an imaginary one, no.

So are there good brothers in SA, hell yeah, not only are they good but FINE too, Lord your sons are handsome, anyway back to the topic at hand.
Had there been a real conference, we would walk down to Bree holding our handbags as we should, not hang on to our bags as thou we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, because Bree feels exactly like that for most of us. We would walk holding our phones listening to music as it should be in a normal world. We would wear our clothes without the fear of being victimised, because oh its too tight, its too revealing we calling on you men to rape us.

Haibo why did this conference not happen thou, why did you not attend this conference and seat and introspect about what you are doing to us. I know the conference was mainly just for fun, i enjoyed following the conference as well. But hows about we also have a fun conference on Social Media where men talk about issues that are really affecting them, does abusing women make you feel powerful, does it come with some sort of satisfaction, how do we deal with this.
Don't get me wrong, am not trying to burst your bubbles, am merely trying to make them bigger, " make the circle bigger" vibes. Madoda. Vavanuna, we are scared of you. We just want to live in a world where we don't have to fear challenging someone just in case they kill us. Is that really too much to ask for. The men's conference has come and gone, lets now have a Vavanuna conference where we tackle issues of women and child abuse.
