Covering one book at a time

Young Men Movement founder Kabelo Chabalala has started an initiative to cover school books for underprivileged children.

Having drawn the inspiration to start this initiative from a friend who had started a similar project, Kabelo says that he knew his village would greatly benefit from the project.

The first book covering day took place at Phake Primary school in Mpumalanga.
Community members came out in their numbers not only to donate but to also assist in covering books.
The next book covering day will be at Mapala combined School in Phake, where Kabelo has confirmed they will be covering over a thousand exercise books which will benefit about 120 learners.

The 2018 Most influential Youth South African nominee in the category of Development and academia has reached out to the community to come out in their numbers to give a helping hand in covering the books.

The details for the next book covering day are as follows:
Date: 16 February
Time:from 8am until 6pm
Venue: Phake, Mapala Combined school
