Self-proclaimed Malawian pastor Shepherd Bushiri and his wife  will remain under police custody as their case gets postponed to Wednesday.

The couple made a brief appearance in the Commercials Crime Court in Pretoria on charges of fraud, money laundering and contravening the prevention of organised crimes act.

Dozens of his followers gathered outside the courts, calling for their "daddy" to be released.
Bushiri and his wife were arrested by the Hawks on Friday. Bushiri's arrest comes after he appeared before the CRL commission following a stamped that claimed three lives at his church this past December.
