Duduzane Zuma's discharge application rejected

Former President Jacob Zuma's son Duduzane Zuma has had his application for culpable homicide charges against him discharged refused by the court.

Duduzane appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court facing culpable homicide charges. The court ruled against discharging charges against Zuma, the case was pstponed to the 15th of May.

Zuma was initially facing two charges of culpable homicide, but one was dropped after a phonologist ruled the death of one of the passengers as a natural death.
In 1 February 2014 Zuma crashed his Porsche into a minibus taxi on the M1 highway in Gauteng, the accident resulted in the death of one passenger.
