Duduzane Zuma trial: State drops one culpable homicide charge

Former President Jacob Zuma's son Duduzane Zuma is appearing before the Randburg Magistrate court on his culpable homicide trial relating to the death of a taxi passenger when his car collided with a minibus taxi in 2014.

The second charge of culpable homicide that Duduzane Zuma was facing has been withdrawn, Jeanette Mashaba died in hospital a few weeks after the accident occurred.                                                                                                                  The State said that after consultation with a pathologist it was ruled that her death was due to natural causes.

Zuma was facing two charges of culpable homicide and a count of negligent driving relating to a car crash on February 1, 2014, on the M1 highway in Gauteng
