Ahead of hugely anticipated Fill Up Peter Mokaba Stadium next April Xitsonga Music sensation Benny Mayengani announced German motor giants VW and Audi as sponsors with Motsepe Foundation sponsorship confirmation expected soon.

Businessman and event manager, Howard Mashaba, has called on all people to buy tickets to attend another big entertainment event in Limpopo.

In 2018, Mayengani shocked the country when filled Giyani Stadium with over 30 thousand people attending the event.

The President as Mayengani is affectionately known took to facebook to announce Red Square, VW Polokwane, Audi Polokwane, Limpopo Department of Arts and Culture, Marble Gold Group, Park Inn, MasterCars, Momes Place, Xinti Travel Tours, Marsana Food Distributors, Kulungwani Accountant, D Ndlovu Trading, ZAR Prestige, Humpkuli Auto, Bayport, TPN Holdings, B Rikhotso Attorneys and Xilumani Coaches as headline sponsors. “We have agreed with them (Motsepe Foundation) it is only that they have not yet given us the confirmation letter of sponsorship but everything is going well. It is growth for Xilumani Brand and Benny Mayengani as an artist. We are very proud about the sponsorships.

"It also grows our nation because this event is not for Mayengani alone it is for the Changani nation as whole. It is obvious that we are going to fill up Peter Mokaba because if we have these sponsors and the public are buying tickets that can tell you that we will indeed fill the stadium. It is a must that we fill it. We are expecting 42 thousand people as this is the full capacity of the stadium,” he said. Xilumani Coaches owner has assured fans and supporters of tight protection next month.

"This after last year at Giyani Stadium at least two people died, one inside the stadium and the other died outside the stadium during the festival. The one who died inside the stadium was stabbed to death to small scuffle during performance by artist. Howver Mashaba is vehement that no deaths will never happened again and promised the people of a safer but most exciting festival. “Our plan this time around at Peter Mokaba will not be the same as the previous time at Giyani Stadium. We have a company that will be using cameras to make sure things that happened in Giyani never happen again. One thing we need to do is to unite and make sure this event takes place to show other groups that we are also able pull big events,” Mashaba reiterated.

Mayengani, who is an Economic Freedom Fighters councillor, generated millions of rand at the Fill Up Giyani Stadium and hopes to make more money next month. “Yes he made money it was handsome money. More than 15 million rand was generated including sponsors. He is a millionaire there are no questions about that,” Mashaba said.
